Karen is a professionally qualified Therapeutic Counsellor and Cognitive Coach and Mentor. She studied with the Institute of Counselling and is an accredited member of the International Federation of Coaches. She has a wealth of knowledge, experience and CPD training including Restorative Practice and Stress Management.
Karen has collaborated with the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health, (NCCMH), Royal College of Psychiatrists, Frontline19 and has over twenty years of experience working in education and business supporting individuals and families to achieve positive outcomes relating to emotional health.
Karen is passionate about positive emotional health for all and uses her theoretical psychology knowledge and professional coaching skills to support individuals, couples and families to overcome, adapt and thrive in all areas of life. Her specialist field is emotional intelligence, emotional resilience and solution focus and her positive methods of practice support healthy living and emotional balance.
Karen has also written self-help resources, workshops and courses to support personal development and improve overall quality of life at work, at home and in our relationships.
She is a member of the IOC and the ICF.
Originally from South East London, Karen now lives in Berkshire with her husband. She is a people person, informal and thrives on seeing positive outcomes for clients. She works with clients from around the globe and across the UK.
Positive connection is key in coaching and mentoring, and Karen works proactively and collaboratively with her clients in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment. All sessions are accessed remotely via secure video link.
