Psychological Coaching is a process that enables individual learning, development and emotional growth to occur and enhance performance in all aspects of your life. It is considered to be the key ingredient for a healthy, balanced life and is associated with overcoming challenge, transition management, life skills and much more. It is driven by a desire for positive change and involves identifying and working towards being a more effective and content person.
An accredited psychological coach is professional, accountable, responsible and committed to the long-term goals of the client. They have trained specifically to guide a client to connect inner purpose with concrete achievement through untapped potential and support them through a structured process to identify beneficial options, better alternatives, new possibilities and guide them to implement the change.
In general, our clients are individuals that want to change, grow, and become more conscious and competent people. Our clients are focused on restructuring their life and daily schedule to enhance their wellbeing, performance and positively influence all areas of their life. They are capable of visioning preferred futures and willing to engage in unlearning and relearning through disciplined and responsible planning.
Karen Smith is an accredited ICF professional psychological coach with a formal qualification in therapeutic counselling and cognitive coaching and mentoring. Karen worked in education and business for over 20 years. She also consults for a UK organisation that supports mental
health for frontline workers.
Society is changing at an ever-increasing rate and functioning as individuals effectively depends on our ability to embrace and adapt to this ongoing change. Karen believes that learning for life is a concept that is here to stay and coaching can help to manage this. As a qualified counsellor, Karen has theorectical psychology understanding which provides the client with a broad base of knowledge and skills to support their individual journey. All of our on line sessions are relaxed, informal, non-judgemental and accessed remotely via secure video link.
